    This is a high quality leather lead. I always have preferred a leather lead to any other because it is more comfortable in your hand. This versatile lead doesn't disappoint and is very easy to use. Now I didn't get this for my hunting dog, it's used on my husky puppy, but I would recommend it for your hunting dog as well.

    Just wanted to take a minute to share how happy we've been with our 9 way leather lead. We've tried other double ended leashes but never could find anything of this quality. The thickness and width of the leather is great for our border collies and the floating ring for a slip collar is one of our favorite features. We have already successfully recommended this leash to others.

    Added this as an after thought to a recent order as a replacement for a previous multi function leash my young dog chewed recently. Glad I did, as it has filled that void quite nicely and has become the default leash we use. As someone who takes my dog with me lots of places, it's nice to be able to give more or less freedom as the situation warrants, and the ability to make it hands free or use to tie to/around something quickly is invaluable for hiking.

    This is a must have leash to have total control of your dog. I use mine to walk 2 of my dogs together, very helpful is training my youngest how to walk on a leash properly. I also use it as a loop over the shoulder leash when I walk one dog, gives u total control. You can also combine this with the multi purpose lead to give u added control when walking 2 dogs together. These are made of high quality leather and are easier to handle than other nylon or rope leashes.

    Best lead ever. This is all I will use from now on. I do search and rescue and dogs need to be quickly tied out. This makes it so simple. I also like the slip lead option when dogs are without collars. I would love to see a version I can use for my whippets, lighter weight clips and rings. Leather is good quality, supple but strong.

    It's a very good leash, and the quality of the leather is exceptional. Has a lot of good hardware. I ended up not liking the braided look on it as much as I thought I would, but it's just a matter of opinion.
