Petsafe Stay + Play Stubborn Dog Rechargeable Receiver Collar PIF00-13672

Our Playsafe System for stubborn dogs has worked very well and the collars do the job as intended. After 2/3 days, our Labs figured it out and would immediately stop when the tone went off and move away from the perimeter. I especially like that the base unit is plugged into an outlet and does not require charging. The collars will stay charged for about 3 days and take about 3 hours to recharge. So far, we are very pleased with the system.

It has areas he found that don't work where he can get out. I don't know if trees block it in certain areas or what. It is only one area that seems to have a hole, but we do live in a very wooded lot. It is going to be great for travel. I think we will fix our in ground Invisible fence as we do feel it is a little safer as it does NOT have holes. I am happy we purchased it for camping, and when we go back to MN to visit family.

I actually bought this collar for my son's Mastador (a lab/English Mastif mix). It works great for him also. Now when they come to visit, we can let both dogs out to play together. No worries about them running off. As soon as they hear the warning signal they turn toward the house. It only took a couple of hits for them to get the idea. We used the longer points and a setting of 6, for their size and coat length. It gives them the freedom to run and play and gives us freedom from worry about losing them or getting hit by a car. It is less expensive than fencing the yard and the system is portable, you can take it with you to a vacation house. We are very happy with this system. It works well for us.
