Transmitter MODES
The SportDOG 1275 gives you the option of customizing the transmitter to fit YOUR needs. It also allows you the option of changing the stimulation setup as your needs change or if you want different options in different situations.
Modes include Continuous and Momentary STIM with Tone or Vibration, Tone and Vibration with Continuous or Momentary STIM, Continuous STIM with +2 Boost and Vibration or Tone, Continuous and Rising STIM with Tone or Vibration, Continous STIM with Vibration or Tone and Locator Beeper (sold separately), and Continous STIM with Vibration or Tone and Remote Launcher Control (sold separately).
Change MODES in seconds by setting the STIM level to 1 using the intensity buttons. Next press and release the recessed button on the back of the transmitter. Select the desired mode with the intensity buttons. After 5 seconds, your selected mode will flash indicating it has been set. The transmitter will then return to the selected dog and intensity level to which it was previously set.

Collar MODES
Another feature in the 1275 collar is the ability to change stimulation settings at the collar. The collar has a low, medium, and high setting. This allows you the option of finding the correct range of stimulation for your dog. Lower the overall stimulation choices for more sensitive dogs and raise the levels for hard-headed or stubborn ones.
You can change the collar setting at any time. You can also have collars set up on different levels and work them from the same transmitter. This allows you the option of working sensitive and stubborn dogs from the same transmitter.

I have a Chocolate male lab who is absolutely wonderful, but at times when he's off leash and at a distance from me, he tends to make his own decisions as to when he's ready to Come when recalled. This collar has been awesome and reminds him quickly that I am still the one calling the shots and more importantly, that he is responsible to me. It charges quickly and seems to last quite awhile.

This is the third e collar that I have used. The first (25 years ago) was a TriTronics, the second (15 years ago) was a Garmin/TriTronics. good products and worked well on both of the labs I had. I now have another lab, 1 year old. This collar is great. Compact, easy to use, rugged, and so far has been very dependable. I use it not only for training but also for waterfowl hunting and would recommend it highly.
