My buddy bought the same unit with the same result. The spools fell apart in the box. This made installation with a rented machine twice as long.

I could not assist in the training very much, because the tone was too quiet. I couldn't hear it. It has worked well with one dog, not so much with the other who no longer wants to be outside without me. The bigger picture is success, however. The dogs no longer leave the yard, which they used to do all the time.

I'm so glad I invested in this product. It took no time at all to train both dogs. It has given me peace of mind I know my dogs are safe in their own yard.
