    These are NECK SIZE COLLARS which means the dog's measured neck size IS the collar size.

    Measure Your Dog's Neck to ensure a proper fit.

    • Use a measuring tape, cloth tape, or a piece of string (and measure the string).
    • Measure your dog's neck where you want the collar to rest on the neck AND at the appropriate tightness.
    • Once you have a measurement, refer to the Guide below to find the appropriate size.
    • The neck size (NS) represents the measurement from the center of the buckle to the fourth adjustment hole.
    • You can adjust 1-inch longer or 3-inches shorter. Keep in mind that using the shorter adjustment holes will leave more collar strap extending past the buckle.

    Gun Dog Supply was recommended to us by a friend with a very active 4 year old Lab. She's had the same collar for as long as we've known her for. The purple personalized biothane collar. When our friend shared the Gun Dog Supply website with us after we adopted our pup, I did not expect to be able to get such a high quality collar & personalization for less than $20! Our dog Buddy spends a lot of time in water and this collar has held up amazingly. Looks and feels like leather without the cost, upkeep, and smell.     This is the best collar I have ever had on one of my dogs. It gets wet everyday and doesn't stay wet or change colors or smell like others do. Dutch gets so many compliments on his collar, daily.

    Buy one for all of you dogs. They are the best collars you will find. My 15 year old Jack Russell has had three. Only because I wanted to change colors. My puppy just got her first one and I know it will last years. The quality is unbelievable for the price. And go ahead and make it easy for the person that finds your dog to get in touch with you fast.

    • Not really a con. Just something to consider. The leather collars are beautiful. But if you have a water dog... it might bleed and stain their fur. So get a biothane one too!
