Measure Your Dog's Neck to ensure a proper fit.

• Use a measuring tape, cloth tape, or a piece of string (and measure the string).
  
• Measure your dog's neck where you want the collar to rest on the neck AND at the appropriate tightness.
  
• Once you have a measurement, refer to the Guide below to find the appropriate size.
  
• The neck size (NS) represents the measurement from the center of the buckle to the fourth adjustment hole.
  
• You can adjust 1-inch longer or 3-inches shorter. Keep in mind that using the shorter adjustment holes will leave more collar strap extending past the buckle.

Quality dog collars

I have bought multipl Big dog, 1 inch center ring dog collars from garden dog supply for my German shorthair. The only reason I have bought so many is because my dog outgrows them not because I've ever had an issue with one. They are high quality collars, and I normally buy orange for hunting, but I tried out the royal blue one for when we are traveling and on vacation. It looks very good on him. They have fast shipping and great customer service at gun dog supply. I want to thank Steve and everyone from gun dog supplies for a quality products, and awesome customer service. Keep up the great work!!

I can't say enough about these collars. They are extremely durable. My lab loves to swim and canoe with us and this thing holds up and does not end up getting nasty.

Best collars for active dogs!

We have been using these collars for years. Our previous pair of dogs went running, mountain biking, hiking and would always lose the name tag that was hanging on the collar ring. We just lost one of those two sadly and her collar is still in great shape with the name tag still perfect and solidly on the collar which hangs by our fire place in her memory. We order another for our new rescue and got a new one for our current dog (not because the collar had worn down just needed a bigger size). I highly recommend this product. BONUS- They are very easy to clean!!!!

I've always hated buying collars from these big stores due to the price you pay your not getting the quality you want . I live out in the country so I want a sturdy, dependable, bright orange collar that will last longer than a month . Great Stink and Frill Free Collar

Our Labradors last collar started to smell pretty gnarly after some ocean and rain time and even after washes, couldn't get it out. So I decided it was time for a new one for our girl, was already planning on ordering a new tag and this collar allowed me to knock out two birds with one shot (yes, that is a hunting pun). She loves the collar though, it is a little large on her (my fault) and we all like how bright the pink is especially at night. Overall a great purchase and great value.

I've been a happy, satisfied Gun Dog Supply collar customer for my last couple of labs. This collar is flexible, which I suspect is comfortable for my dog. Having an O ring as well as a D ring fits our active lifestyle, as we run daily and hike frequently as well. The name plate with essential information is an added bonus. My dog gets wet at every opportunity and this collar is perfect for that kind of dog.

Good heavy collar

A heavier version of the biothane collars I've used for years. The hardware is heavier as well. No issues. It does have a black stretchy retainer thingy that if you can get it over the end of the collar far enough is nice to keep the collar end from flapping around. The only issue I've ever had with biothane collars is that they retain enough moisture that they cause a fungus infection on the neck of one of our labs. So far that hasn't been a problem so maybe they've improved the material a bit.

Perfect fit for our black lab. Love the feel and the look of the collar. The piece to tuck the 'tail' of the collar in is a nice feature to keep it from getting caught on anything in the field and keep her from chewing on it. Great collar.

Our Brittanies love to get in ponds, creeks and salt water. We loved our leather collars, but these biothene collars are much better for getting wet. Selection of colors is great to easily identify your dog from a distance too.

This is a repeat purchase of the same design collar. I just wanted a new color. They are very durable and last for a long time. My dogs go in the water a lot. With other materials of collars I've removed the collar to let it air dry. These I keep on and they are dry by the time my dogs are. If they get muddy they literally wipe clean. I also like the personalized brass information plate. I am very happy with my purchase.

Very happy with the collar, I mistakenly purchased the same collar without the center ring before buying this one, good collar with laser nametag but prefer the center ring.
