This is the TBI game steward's bag. It's designed for carrying birds in the field. I use them when I am planting birds, mainly quail and pigeons. It's great for resetting your launchers. Typically, if I'm working launchers I'm working more than one dog. And so, as we work the dog, we launch the birds. When we are through with the dog and he's moved on, we reset the launcher for the next dog. They are great for that. Easy to carry in the field.
It has a spring-loaded opening, so you put your birds in, you take your birds out. When you are through, it closes back tight. It's got pockets on the side. Occasionally, I'll put a pistol, just extra gear. It's good for that.
The sides are made out of mesh so that the birds can breathe. And it keeps your heat down. You've got to watch it. If you put too many in here they'll overheat and that's not a good thing for them.
It's got a shoulder strap and it's got a clip on it. So, easy to carry in the field. When you are moving birds around or resetting your training setups, it's perfect for that. I use them pretty much every time I'm training. They're just a great bag, easy to carry in the field. It just makes your training a whole easier.
