Perfect length to hold a dog steady. The only thing I did was tie a knot at the end to get an easier hold.

I thought this would be the perfect thing when holding my dog while doing retriever training. Well, not so much after it gets wet. I moved to a 1/2 thick rope, and it worked much better for me. :) Worked as described, and I would use it for smaller pups that are not going to try and pull your arm off when they see a bird dropping into the water. :)
