The Dogtra 202C is a low to medium power 2-dog system featuring a front facing dial with 100 levels of stimulation. It is gentle enough for even the most mild mannered dogs, and includes many of the features of Dogtra's pro-line collars. It features a 1/2 mile range, a reduced-size waterproof collar receiver for a perfect fit on smaller dogs (10 lbs. and up), and a compact waterproof transmitter.
The 202C training collar offers a choice of continuous stimulation, momentary ("nick") stimulation, and non-stimulating vibration ("page").
Built for precision and enhanced ergonomics, the Dogtra 202C features a receiver that is 29% smaller than the previous model to ensure a more comfortable fit and produces a more effective training result for dogs as small as 10 lbs. This system is FABULOUS!! It is so easy to use and adjustable correction settings for each dog , suited to individual need. The collars are light and perfect for my small Jack Russell Terriers. IT was recommended by my breeder friend that has both GSP and JRT, they use the collars on all the dogs on runs and hikes. I am so glad they recommended it, it gives the dogs freedom to run but stay safe and in control. This system has been terrific. i started with the single dog system and traded up for this one, so glad i did, it makes hiking with 2 dogs a pleasure. I also had trouble with other systems working in the cold weather and snow, this has not been an issue with the Dogtra 202C. Charge doesn't last long

I use every AM on 2 Goldens so they are well behaved.
I would think a charge woulde last several days as use is minimal…but it seems they want to be charged every day!
Other than that, I like vibrate or zap are available.

Purchased a new DOGTRA set for a new dog that was well trained but not used to the wide open spaces of NM. Needed the occasional vibration at distance to get his attention from birds, rabbits, etc., but then was back on command. Used mid-range vibe.
Used "Nick" shock once when he wanted to chase another dog at some distance and did not respond. Gave him a treat and some pets. They only want to know what you want them to do, until the chemistry kicks in of course. This allows you to regulate the dog you are training based on the situation.
Pros
Compact, water and dirt proof.
Rugged, takes the drops and the bangs.
Lightweight on the dog.
Easy charge.
Good battery life though not calculated closely. I was getting a week of approximately 30-45 minute walks daily.
That's two collars on two dogs. Good signal, but we have open terrain which helps. About a half-mile is not an exaggerated range claim.
Cons
Hard pressed to find much wrong, but have never compared due to ease of use and familiarity with performance and reliability over 15 years.
