Aqua Buddy Automatic Dog and Cat Waterer by RPI -- 2 qt.

Product was delivered promptly and setup was super easy, just added a splitter to outside faucet and bought short (3 foot) hose from store. Works just like my larger auto waterers for the horses and cows.

This bowl is nicely made but would not hold up to a chewer. That being said, I made it into a water spot for pups being walked by my yard. And for outdoor critters wanting a drink. I plumbed it under the frost line but will still have to turn it off if it’s getting below freezing because it’s connected to a spigot.

First one arrived and did not shut off. They immediately cross shipped another and we love it! Buying a 2nd as soon as possible.

This is our third Aqua Buddy. It is inexpensive, but serves very well on our patio.

Works really well, zero complaints and no worries about my dog running out of water on the hot days!

We used it as a chicken waterer for a big flock. Worked perfectly, cleaned up easily. Will try it for our dogs next!

This thing leaks worse than any auto waterer I have ever seen! I tried multiple hose attachments and plumbers tape and it still leaks. I quit using it because it was just wasting water. It's a good idea in theory but poorly executed. I would not recommend this product

Have had to keep repairing it over and over again because it leaks and comes apart every few weeks between hose attachment and dish. Now it is to the point it won\'t even work without dripping anymore. Need to get another with MORE sturdy connection that won\'t leak.

Ordered two of these. First one failed but I blamed myself for over-tightening plastic connections. So I ordered a second, and was more careful. That one failed, too. BTW, both came with float jammed in fully closed position so that I had to disassemble unit to adjust float to proper level. I called "Customer Service" at Steve Snell and a very friendly guy sent me what he said would be "a repair kit." It was just the float. The float worked fine, it was the cheap plastic connections that failed both time. I would avoid any auto-waterer that depends on plastic to metal connections. The metal wins every time. I was hoping to negotiate a discount price on his $129 steel fitted one, but never got around to it. I would still deal with Snell because they did try to make it right. Just a bad product, in my experience.

Excellent product that all three dogs share. Just clean the tank out every so often and your good. Excellent product!

I bought this for my cat but installed it in my chicken yard. Works great. If I could just figure out how to keep the water in the hose from freezing in the winter.

Have had this more than a year, and it gets HEAVY use. Was fine out all year through a heavy freeze but kept working. Absoultely a MUST for ANYONE with a dog and a yard, especially at such a marginal cost!

Just got my bowl a few day ago it awesome it works great i even hooked it in to my filter

Great product, easy to adjust water level! Better than spending 70 dollars at Petsmart.
