The Mendota British style slip lead features premium, strong, 1/2" solid braid multi-filament UV coated polypropylene rope, leather sleeves and brass ring. Used by trainers, field trial and hunting test participants. Leash and slip collar in one allows for correction. Adjustable leather slide keeps "collar" in place. "Broken-in" feel is easy on the hands and allows easy folding to fit in a pocket. Available in red, blue, camo, black, orange, or green. 1/2" x 4 feet. Made in the USA.

Great slip lead!

We got the 4 ft slip lead- perfect length, doesn’t get caught up in pup’s legs. Easy on and off. We bought extras for family retrievers.

Lead works great easily fitting over her Rex Specs and Garmin Beeper collar. No more trying to snap on collar ring.

I had one of these previously and lost it last week on a quail hunt. It’s wonderfully convenient to have a lead in my game bag and pull it out when I need to control the dog. Orange is easier to see than green.

Picked this up for a quick and easy lead during training. Seems to be well built can be used as a short walking lead also. Would like to see a different type stop adjuster though. I think this will eventually loosen in time.

We got this leash for entering the dock at Dock Diving competitions. My wife wanted a leash which allowed control of dog when in a very excited condition and also easy to remove once ready to jump. the leash works great on both accounts and is wide and soft enough not to cut into her hand

I ordered two; one for Ben, the Springer, and the other because I work at a vets and find that a heavier leash is much more useful than those supplied. Also I like the 4' as I have more control moving dogs around the building, and also they are only wearing a name collar, so a standard leash is pretty useless.

I have six of these leashes. Won't buy any other kind. We keep three at home and three at our cabin in the mountains. Highly recommended. People always ask me about them. Most people think a long leash or extend and retract leashes are best until I explain to them how to use this one and show them. I tell them walking at heel is best and safest.
